Geopolitics is so much part of our life.
We can choose to be solitudinarian but the global village will cover our space without our nod.
The church and politics are neighbours whose coexistence needs wisdom to separate.
As a prototype or pointer, God used an idol worshipper, Abraham to be a progenitor of biblical Israel and believers by grace through faith.
This is Ephesians 2:8-9, “[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Israel itself was God’s communication with mortals how He was going to save the whole world.
Abraham wasn’t a Jew nor a Christian. So the blessing of Abraham falls on both Jews and Greeks/Gentiles who choose to believe the Gospel of Christ.
We read Galatians 3:28-29, “[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Christianity isn’t Judaism. There are many who convert to Judaism to become Christians or believers. It doesn’t work that way.
A non-biblical message that just be a Jew you will be wealthy is pedalled.
Please let’s use the one and only canonised Bible.
It says in Romans 4:18, “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”
Abraham is the father of all nations in Christ.
I opened my message with politics.
Some believe that Christianity is a white man’s religion. That’s mental bankruptcy.
The biblical Israel is different from present day reconstructed Israel.
If you want to study further the geopolitics, look at the West’s relationship with Israel.
Elsewhere we saw that going to Israel is good tourism business.
For the umpteenth time I mention here that we don’t argue with God on His choice of Abraham, Israel or Marry.
All we do is to worship God the Father in Christ. We know John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
We add John 4:21,23-24, “[21] Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. [23] But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
Let us correct the common error that comes from the blessing of Abraham.
Probably because of desire for wealth, many misinterpret the blessing of Abraham as riches, houses, cars and land. It’s far from that.
We’re told in Galatians 3:13-14, “[13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
It’s the promise of the Spirit.
The “us” in verse 13 refers to Jews. Gentiles never had the law to be freed from. I will address this shortly.
Verse 14 makes it clear that the blessing of Abraham is spiritual. What is it then? It’s salvation devoid of works or salvation by grace.
Receiving and accepting the Gospel of Christ, one is saved even if she/he is a witch/wizard.
The blessing of Abraham is unmerited, unearned, undeserved and humanly unattainable favour. It’s faith without works.
We prove now that Gentiles had no law.
It’s mind boggling that we spend so much time arguing and debating whether we should keep the 10 commandments or the 613 laws.
Space will not allow me to exhaust it here but suffice to say that Jesus reduced the 10 commandments and the laws to one, love.
Still on Gentiles wanting the law.
Don’t you read the Scriptures? It’s clear in Ephesians 2:11-13, “[11] Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision and by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12] That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
It’s in Christ, not commandments and laws.
We function on a higher plane, Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” We will pick it up from here.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Grace and peace be multiplied to you through knowledge.
